Latest Version of iPad Recording Interface Boasts new Features, Improved Performance

The prestigious TEC Awards were established in 1985 to honor outstanding achievement in professional audio production and product innovation.
The Alesis iO Dock II is the most seamless way to equip any iPad for recording and live performance. iO Dock II is the latest version of the company’s hugely popular and successful iO Dock. This latest version is even more capable than its predecessor, and it now adds support for both Lightning and 30-pin iPads via interchangeable connectors. The updated placement of these connectors also allows for a more stable and secure connection to the iPad.
The iO Dock II features two combo XLR-1/4-inch inputs for use with both instruments and microphones, and it also includes switchable phantom power for use with professional condenser microphones. A significant upgrade of the new iO Dock II is the improved high-impedance guitar input which provides extremely accurate recording of guitars and bass guitars. For audio outputs, the iO Dock II has a stereo pair of 1/4″ outputs and a ¼” headphone output, each with their own independent volume controls.
